I found a video that in many ways is like a model on this website. I guess you'll have to watch it to know what I'm talking about. This gave me new ideas on what other purposes models serve. First off they help us comprehend size, get ideas of what things we cannot see look like, and we can use models to compare to observations in nature and it helps us to further develop our understanding. Another idea I came up with goes well with blue prints in architecture. We can find the location and size (if there is a scale) of things as well as find errors in our models. These are just a few more ideas.
